Microsoft Store Animal Crossing: New Horizons Game is Fake

Misbar’s investigation found that the game being sold on the Microsoft Store is not Animal Crossing or any kind of official Nintendo game. 

Nintendeal posted a tweet about the fake game on April 30, 2021. 

Although the game cover art is taken from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, according to those who have purchased it, the game is more like Frogger than Animal Crossing. The actual game is only available on Nintendo products and costs around $50.
