Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar’s investigation found that the photo actually shows Pope Francis kissing the hands of Holocaust survivor Eliezer Grynfeld

We conducted a reverse image search of the photo and found that it was published on Getty Images on May 26, 2014 after Pope Francis visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial museum in  Jerusalem.

The Rothschilds and the Rockefellers are both wealthy families. The Rothschild family is Jewish, which is the only connection we can imagine social media users making with the photo.
