The Claim
Heinz made a new condiment called Mayoreo.

The claim took off on social media in late June 2021. Many social media users posted a photo showing the sauce.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation found that the product is not real. We looked through Heinz’s product page and searched for the term Mayoreo and did not see the sauce anywhere.
We also conducted a reverse image search of the photo and found that it was first published on the Doctor Photograph Instagram page.
Other doctored photos, such as Cannibal’s Foot Soup, Womanwich sandwich meat, and Nacho Cheese Oreos also appear on the page.
