Following France's exit from the Euro 2020 tournament, a photo of Zidane sipping coffee circulated online. Many alleged the picture was taken after the country fell out of the tournament.

Misbar’s investigation shows that the claim is incorrect; the photo is old and was not taken during the Euro 2020 tournament.
Running a reverse google image search shows that the photo is over two years old. It was first shared by Zidane himself on his Instagram page on June 20th, 2019, with the caption, ‘’TeaTime. Where are you @davidbeckham?’’
It has since been used dozens of times over the years, as shown by the search results.
France left the Euro 2020 tournament when they were beaten by Switzerland 5-4 during a penalty shoot-out after they both drew three goals at the end of full and extra time. France was more favored to win the encounter, but youngster Kylian Mbappe missed a crucial kick that led to France's loss.
