This Is The Heilan Horse Museum in China, Not Stables in Dubai
The image is not in the United Arab Emirates but instead in China (Twitter).

The Claim

Image of a luxury horse stable in Dubai, with marble flooring and air conditioning.

Emerging story

In both English and Arabic, users on social media, including Twitter and Facebook, are circulating an image of a luxury horse stable, claiming it is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Users added that the stables have marble flooring and are airconditioned. Upon further research, it was found that the claim has been made as early as 2017 and has resurfaced.

Misbar’s Analysis

MENA: A TinEye reverse image search revealed the image circulating was first found online in 2016. Our investigation showed that the image is not in the United Arab Emirates but instead in China. The image is of the international Heilan Horse Culture Museum outside of Shanghai, including an  International Equestrian Club, 5-star Taoyuan Villa Hotel, Heilan Hotel, 7-star Horse Island Hotel, Heilan Pegasus Aqua City, and other main projects and facilities all built by the Heilan Group. More pictures of the museum can be seen below and accessed here.

The Horse Cultural Museum has over 47 rare horse varieties from over 30 regions in its Famous Horse Hall. The building was opened to the public in May 2016 and covered an area of 30,960 square meters. The Museum and Equestrian Club also have shows where they display the abilities and beauty of the horses. The club has over 100 members from the international community and employs many trainers and veterinarians to see to the horses.

Given the findings, the Misbar team concludes the claim is misleading. While the image is accurate, it is not in Dubai but somewhat just outside Shanghai, China, and is not stable but rather a museum.
