Several Facebook and Twitter users have shared two photos purportedly showing a Brazilian billionaire becoming homeless.

A thorough investigation by Misbar revealed that the two photos depict two different individuals.
Using Google Reverse Search, our team discovered that the billionaire in the picture is Brazilian businessman Eike Batista, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2018 for corruption and money laundering after amassing a fortune worth $34.5 billion.
In addition, the investigation leads us to a BBC report on the billionaire and the story of his arrest.
The photograph of the homeless person was taken from a news report discussing the struggles of the homeless in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
AFP News Agency's YouTube channel published the video in 2016.
