The Claim

The World Economic Forum tweeted that chairman Klaus Schwab stated: "The internet must be reformed. There is far too much misinformation available," he adds, "This will be the next step in the Great Reset."

Social media users have shared an image, which is allegedly a screenshot of a tweet from the World Economic Forum's official Twitter account. 
The alleged screenshot depicts a statement attributed to chairman Klaus Schwab saying that “ the internet needs to be reformed and that this will be the next step in the Great Reset.”

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be fake. 

Our team has not found any evidence of such a tweet. We used the keywords “Klaus,” “Schwab,” and “Internet” on the Twitter advance search, and we did not find any similar tweet or statement on the verified World Economic Forum Twitter account.

Another advanced search on Google did not lead us to any relevant results. However, we found the same screenshot circulating on some meme-sharing websites and sarcastic pages like iFunny
