The British actor Sir Ian Mckellen, known for his role as the wizard Gandalf in “The Lord of the Rings,” has recently  taken a selfie with a fan in Lviv, Ukraine.

An image showing the British actor Sir Ian Mckellen, known for his role as the wizard Gandalf in “The Lord of the Rings,” with a fan has gone viral. The image was purportedly taken recently in Lviv, Ukraine. 

Social media users alleged that the actor has recently visited Ukraine to support it during the ongoing war.

The famous actor Sir Ian McKellen denied the claim via his official Twitter account.

Moreover, a reverse image check allowed Misbar’s team to trace the photo to a Facebook post shared on November 30, 2021. The photo was taken by a fan in London.
