Paul Pelosi Arrested

Several news outlets have reported on Paul Pelosi’s arrest. According to the California Highway Patrol and court records, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was arrested for alleged drunk driving after a two-vehicle collision in California late Saturday, May 28, 2022. The reports did not mention anything about Pelosi being charged with possession of child pornography and cocaine.

California Highway Patrol said that Mr. Pelosi was driving a 2021 Porsche and hit by a 2014 Jeep as he was trying to cross a state road in Napa County.  Paul Pelosi was released the next day on $5,000 bail, A CBS News article reported.

Based on the findings, the story is satirical and baseless. A satire website that describes itself as “the most trusted source for satire on the West Coast” first published the claim. The website also said its mission is to write “satirical stories about issues that affect conservatives.”
