Uber Has No “Walking Buddy”

The Uber "walking buddy" claim emerged for the first time in 2020.

In 2020, Uber's official Twitter account satirically quote retweeted the fabricated screenshot.

Conor Ferguson, an Uber spokesperson, also refuted the circulating claim to Lead Stories and Reuters.

Despite the fact that the screenshot was shared on Twitter in jest, some users began searching for it as a new job.

Misbar came across a couple of social media users who were serious about becoming a "walking buddy."
