In the circulating video, the expression “Montjoie Saint-Denis, à bas la Macronie,” can be heard. "Down with Macronia" was said to criticize Macron’s government and “Montjoie Saint Denis,” is and old French the cry for battle.
The same phrase and the same visuals match the 2021 video of President Macron getting slapped. The recently circulated video was shot on the same day, but from a different angle. The 2021 video can be seen below.
According to the BBC, the man who slapped President Macron was sentenced to four months in jail. "When I saw his friendly, lying look, which sought me out as a voter, I was filled with disgust," he was reported as saying to the court.
