The images show rooms littered with empty plastic bottles, used tissues, food waste, and cigarette butts left on the floor.

The images date back to March 2022. They show the dressing room of Italy’s Football team after their 1-0 defeat to North Macedonia during the FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff semi-final match on March 24, 2022.

On March 28, Leonardo Bonucci, Italy's defender, apologized on behalf of the Italian national team. The apology came after the team faced harsh criticism for leaving the dressing room in shambles. 

“It was a big mistake, next time, we’ll pay more attention,” said Bonucci.
