He sustained injuries in confrontations with armed groups and was later moved to El Arish Military Hospital. Despite receiving initial medical care and being transferred to Maadi Military Hospital, he tragically passed away due to his injuries.

Mohamed Al-Moataz dedicated himself to serving his country in Sinai, specifically in the city of Rafah, with unwavering commitment and determination. Despite his profound dedication, he made the difficult decision not to inform his father about his service in Sinai, fearing that it would negatively impact his father's emotional well-being.

An Egyptian Soldier Kills Three Israeli Soldiers

An attack near the Egyptian border resulted in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers. The incident occurred when an individual dressed in an Egyptian police uniform opened fire.

The incident occurred near the Nitzana and al-Awja border crossing, located 40km (25 miles) southeast of the convergence point between Israel's border with Egypt and the Gaza Strip. This crossing is utilized for the importation of goods from Egypt destined for Israel or the Gaza Strip.

According to the Israeli military, two soldiers were initially shot and killed by an Egyptian policeman while securing a military post on the Egyptian border early Saturday. Hours later, a confrontation inside Israeli territory resulted in the deaths of the Egyptian officer and a third Israeli soldier.

The Egyptian military reported that an Egyptian border guard crossed the security barrier and engaged in a firefight with Israeli forces while chasing drug traffickers. A statement from the Egyptian military stated that during the chase, the border guard inadvertently crossed the security fence, leading to the exchange of gunfire.
