Misbar investigated the circulating video clips and found the claims to be misleading.

After conducting a thorough reverse image search, Misbar’s team  discovered that the circulating videos are actually from a video game.

Videos From the Arma 3 Video Game  Shared After the Wagner Rebellion

The @battlepop YouTube channel, known for sharing videos from various video games, uploaded the initial viral video in March 2023.

The video is titled "Russia's Elite Air Force vs Ukrainian SAM Missiles Combat | MilSim Arma 3."

According to the video’s description, the video is a virtual game simulation created using the video game Arma 3.

Compared Comparison, a YouTube channel that creates modern cinematic military films using ArmA 3 and DCS, shared the second viral video back in February 2022.

The video’s title reads, “Fighter Aircraft attack C-RAM - Phalanx CIWS - Military Simulation - ArmA 3 #Shorts.”
