American media published various scenes of the fire, revealing identical details. The fire, which erupted on Monday night, caused flames and debris to spread, and it was not brought under control until early Tuesday.

The authorities indicated that the site where the fire erupted on Monday night had illegally stored butane canisters and other explosive materials. A 19-year-old man lost his life due to flying debris, and a firefighter was injured during the explosions.

Iraqi Factions Declare the Targeting of Haifa Airport

The circulation of claims followed the announcement by armed Iraqi factions on Wednesday, March 6, stating the targeting of Haifa Airport using drones. In a press release, the factions mentioned, "As part of the second phase of resistance operations, in support of our people in Gaza and in response to Zionist massacres against innocent Palestinian civilians, the power station at Haifa Airport was targeted by drones on the evening of Tuesday, March 5."

Furthermore, on Friday, March 1, Iraqi factions declared the targeting of the chemical materials station at Haifa Port, also using drones.
