Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading. The image in question actually depicts a child found near the Medical College in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, and was published in mid-January last year.

The local news website Nayashatabdi has published details of the incident, stating that the widely circulated image on social media is recent and was taken near the blue corrugated fence visible in the clip, in the new building of the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MAMEC), which is still under construction.

In the same context, a Mymensingh city official stated that this is not the first time such an incident has occurred, adding that the hospital management has already employed hundreds of people to take care of the area. If the sanitation workers had done their job properly, people would not have witnessed this scene, but it is the responsibility of the hospital management to take action.
