This Image of Netanyahu Was Created Using AI

The image of Netanyahu in the hospital during the ongoing war on Gaza is AI-generated.

Upon closer examination, several indicators suggest that the image is AI-generated.

The man's shoulder appears abnormally turned up, unlike the relaxed position expected of an unconscious person under sedation. In addition, the tube appears to lead nowhere, blurred objects, and discrepancies in textures.

The surgery took place late Sunday, with Netanyahu, 74, under full anesthesia. During the operation, Justice Minister Yariv Levin assumed temporary leadership of the country.

A statement from doctors and Netanyahu's office confirmed that the surgery had proceeded as planned and had been successful. Professor Alon Pikarsky, the hospital's director of general surgery, reported that Netanyahu was awake, recovering, and engaging with his family.
