According to reports in the British media on Thursday, Casemiro would sign a four-year contract with an additional one-year option for an initial sum of £60 million plus £10 million in add-ons.

The 30-year-old player has played for Real Madrid since 2013, winning five Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles. In his illustrious career, he has won 17 significant awards, including the Copa America title.
Once his transfer is finalized, Casemiro, who will be United's fourth signing, is expected to be among the team's highest earners. Real Madrid and Manchester United have reached an agreement for Casemiro, according to the club's official Twitter account.
In a press conference on Friday before Real Madrid's La Liga match against Celta Vigo, Ancelotti stated that Casemiro had told him he intended to leave the club, “he wants to take on a new challenge, the club understands.”
On Saturday morning, Casemiro expressed his deep sorrow for leaving the club in an Instagram post, “I lived the most wonderful story I ever thought of. I hope to return someday to where it will always be my home. Not even in a thousand lifetimes I will be able to return to Real Madrid and to Madridismo all that you have given me.”
