Following the occupation's violent bombing of the surroundings of the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza, on Thursday evening, November 9, an account on the X platform published a video of footage aired by Al Jazeera depicted the panic caused by the explosions. The account claimed that it showed armed individuals from Hamas holding weapons inside the Indonesian hospital during the bombing, accusing Al Jazeera of deleting the footage after airing it.

The "Israel in Arabic" account reposted the video, with the caption, "Hamas armed terrorists take cover among Gazan civilians. Al Jazeera unwittingly exposed this method! Imagine how many similar scenes were hidden by Hamas and their operatives at Al Jazeera?"

This comes as Israeli accounts continue to claim that hospitals in Gaza host headquarters underneath them where Hamas fighters hide, in an attempt to justify bombing such places.

No Armed Individuals Shown in Video Following Indonesian Hospital Bombing

Misbar analyzed the claims surrounding the video and found them to be misleading. The footage does not show armed individuals holding weapons inside the Indonesian hospital.

Upon closer examination, it became evident that what appeared to be weapons were more likely batons used by security guards at institutions and hospitals. These batons were raised while some were calling the crowd that entered the hospital after the violent Israeli raids not to jam the place. Hundreds of civilians had poured inside the hospital's hallways to take cover from the bombing that made them flee the tents they live in on the hospital's yard. When zooming in on the image, it clearly shows the baton of security guards, which have a distinct shape from any known weapons.

The original footage showing people fleeing inside the hospital after the bombing clearly shows the presence of security guards in the building asking inhabitants to get away from spaces reserved for the entrance of emergency cases.

Al Jazeera Did Not Delete Scenes

Contrary to the claims being shared, reviewing Al Jazeera's official accounts on social media also shows that the scene is still present in the video they published, which documents the moment the violent bombing targeted the surroundings of the Indonesian hospital. The channel did not delete the scene.

Israeli Raids Around Indonesian Hospital

Regarding the Israeli raids around the Indonesian hospital, the attacks on Thursday evening, November 9, killed dozens of people and severely injured many others. Media outlets published images of rockets falling near the hospital, as well as inhabitants fleeing the explosions that occurred a few letters away and seeking cover inside the hospital's building.
