During the Israeli army's raid on the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the heart of Gaza City on November 15, a team from the American network Fox News accompanied them to document the operation.
Fox News aired a video report showing their correspondent, Trey Yingst, touring the complex while the Israeli army was conducting a sweep.
The report showed two AK-47 rifles, ammunition belts, some plastic bags, and other items inside the Al-Shifa Hospital, specifically in a room behind the MRI machine.
The Israeli Army Has Released Different Footage Showcasing the Presence of Weapons Inside Al-Shifa Hospital
In the location where the correspondent appeared inside the MRI room, revealing the presence of two Kalashnikov rifles, the Israeli army had released a video clip, claiming that Major Jonathan Conricus exposed “countless weapons of Hamas found by Israeli soldiers in the MRI room at Al-Shifa Hospital.”
In the video, Major Jonathan Conricus appeared at the same location where Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst had been, but the setting appeared different.
The Israeli military footage revealed the presence of a single Kalashnikov rifle and ammunition inside a shoulder bag at the location, not two Kalashnikov rifles as shown in the Fox News report. Additionally, there were many differences in the appearance of the place, such as the presence of a carton and the disappearance of plastic bags, making it appear organized and different from what was shown in the Fox News coverage, suggesting alterations in the placement of weapons and modifications to some elements.
The Israeli Army Did Not Show Any Tunnels Beneath the Al-Shifa Hospital
At the end of his report, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst stated that the Israeli army did not reveal any tunnels under the hospital, only displaying automatic rifles inside the MRI room.
The Israeli army repeatedly made claims about Hamas tunnels beneath the Al-Shifa hospital. Previously, during a press conference on October 27, the Israeli army presented images and footage claiming to reveal intelligence data obtained by the Shin Bet security agency and the Israeli army, confirming the presence of Hamas facilities within and beneath the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.
However, Misbar undermined this narrative by publishing a report outlining discrepancies in the Israeli claims about Al-Shifa hospital.
