The photo and the claim were posted and shared hundreds of times in multiple languages over social media networks.

Misbar's investigation concluded that there's no evidence that a nursing home was merged with an orphanage in Canada. The circulated photo was actually orginally published in 2013 and belongs to a weekly voluntarily activity called "Alt & Jung/ Old & Young" in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany.
