Misbar’s investigation into this claim reveals it to be false. The tweet in question does not appear in Ocasio-Cortez’ timeline, and despite the accusations that she deleted it, the tweet also does not appear in any archives set up to record online activity for future reference. Also, despite claims that the tweet was shared over 20,000 times, it is seemingly impossible to find an instance of someone sharing the tweet, which would show up in twitter records if the tweet had in fact been deleted.
