A video of the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi drunk went viral on social media platforms. Will Allen posted the video that received 89K shares claiming Pelosi is “blowed out of her mind” at a news conference. The video went viral on Facebook and Twitter.
Misbar’s Analysis
Our investigation found that the video in the circulating claim is a doctored video of Nancy Pelosi. We compared the short clip in the claim with the full video from May 20, 2020 Capitol Hill news conference, and found that Pelosi was speaking and acting normally.
According to CNN, the video is digitally edited and slowed down to make it appear as if Pelosi was drunk.
This is not the first time someone has digitally slowed down a Pelosi video to make it appear the speaker was drunk.
