Misbar’s Analysis

The claims circulating are false, the BBC’s article is a theoretical piece on how travel might look in the coming years after COVID-19. The article didn’t mention anything about microchips that can track vaccinated people.
The article mentioned the “subdermal record” of the vaccine mentioned in the piece is a tattoo or dye invisible to the eye, but readable by a scanner.

This is a technology that is currently being developed to administer the MMR vaccine. Researchers have shown a dye that could be administrated along with a vaccine using a microneedle patch. The dye hasn’t been tested on people yet. The article suggests how travel might change in the future, it also mentioned that paper vaccine passport could be a possibility.

Misbar found a press statement by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation announcing that they contributed in funding to develop a vaccine for COVID-19.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $300m to combat COVID-19, has been facing a lot of false claims. This is not the first time Misbar investigates a conspiracy theory being spread online related to Gates.
Bill Gates isn’t developing COVID-19 microchips, won't track citizens with microchips, or track people who have been vaccinated for coronavirus.
