Misbar’s investigation into this claim reveals it to be false. The “drone” photograph is not a real photograph at all, but a product of digital artist Jean-Michel Bihorel, who posted it to his website under the title “Winter Sleep.” The artist has since verified that the photo is his personal creation, but nevertheless claims continue to circulate due to the resemblance of the art to the Alaskan legend.
