In August 2020, users on social media began posting the video with captions saying it depicts the King of Bahrain arriving in Dubai with his robot bodyguard.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation found that the captions accompanying the video are false. We conducted a reverse image search using screenshots from the video and discovered that it actually depicts Titan the Robot, a robot greeter in Abu Dhabi.
Titan was developed by Cyberstein Robots. The video was taken in February 2019, when Titan helped greet guests in Abu Dhabi.
