A video by a retired Italian doctor claims that COVID-19 is actually a tool to depopulate the world. The doctor says that SARS-CoV-2 is the weapon of “an international plan for the control and reduction of populations that was launched in 2020."
The video is circulating on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube attracting thousands of social media users.
The Italian doctor also claims in the video that COVID-19 was launched in 2020, COVID-19 means a certificate of identification of vaccination with artificial intelligence, and what reactivates the virus is the weakened immune terrain of vaccination.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar's investigation found a lot of false information in the claim. COVID-19 is real, according to the World Health Organization. It is a “disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus. ’CO' stands for corona, 'VI' for the virus and 'D' for the disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as '2019 novel coronavirus' or '2019-nCoV.’”
WHO also verified that COVID-19 is a naturally occurring virus. According to CNN, “The countries that are ever so slowly climbing their way past coronavirus share one key trait: widespread testing.” According to Nature, testing, contact tracing, and household quarantine concluded that these strategies are effective in slowing down COVID-19.
Moreover, the US Department of Health and Human Services said: “Vaccines are safe and effective. Because vaccines are given to millions of healthy people – including children – to prevent serious diseases, they’re held to very high safety standards.”
