@NutellaUSA's tweets attracted thousands of Twitter users. The information by Nutella was spread like a wildfire in the MENA region. Muslims all over the world were debating, expressing their shock and anger.
The conversation went down and Twitter was ready to start a fight.
Misbar’s Analysis
After the huge debate led on Twitter, Nutella stepped in and cleared all the misleading saying that most of their industrial plants are certified Halal "by a third party." They apologized for the misleading tweet and laid out the facts.
Misbar’s investigation found that Nutella is Halal, just not Halal certified.
