Before her death, Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote a tweet reading: “I have information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton.”
Emerging story
In mid-September 2020, following Ginsburg’s passing, social media users shared a tweet they claimed was written by the late Supreme Court Justice.

Misbar’s investigation found that the tweet was fabricated. Both accounts that published the tweet, @RBGofficial and @RBGdead, are unverified. The latter is labeled as a parody account and posts humorous content that is obvious satire.
Further, the late justice did not have a Twitter account.
