From around the world, thousands of social media users shared pictures of a man doing a maternity photoshoot. Users claimed that a man decided to undergo a pregnancy photo-shoot he paid for his wife after she refused to do it.
The claim was shared in English, Arabic, and Spanish.
The photoshoot was also published with the claim on news websites.
They also claimed that his wife refused the photoshoot for an unknown reason. Adding that the man didn't want to waste his money that why he chose to do it instead.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar's investigation found all the claims circulating baseless. The photoshoot has nothing to do with a wife refusing to do a photoshoot.
Using Tine Eye, we found that these photos have been online since 2017.
According to the Huff Post, this dad posed for his own maternity photos without mentioning his wife. 
Francisco Pérez, a Spanish dad, posed for some parody pregnancy photos on the outskirts of Málaga City in southern Spain. Photographer Martyn Wilkes asked Pérez to pose for his own “maternity” shoot.
