Misbar’s Analysis

The Misbar team has determined that this claim is false. The published story says that 372,000 mail-in ballots were rejected by Pennsylvania; however, a story published by Propublica indicated that they were actually ballot applications.

Approximately 336,000 ballot applications were denied because they were duplicates that resulted from voters who had requested mail-in ballots for Pennsylvania’s June 2 primary election who may have not realized that they had checked a box to be sent ballots for the general election as well. According to the article, one out of every five requests for a mail-in ballot are being rejected in Pennsylvania. The Blaze later updated their story to account for the change in information. As such, we rate the claim that 372,000 mail-in ballots were rejected in Pennsylvania as false.
