Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar's investigation finds that the video is actually in Paris, but took place in 2017.
Our reverse image search found the same video clip circulating published since 2017. The video was titled, “Clichy: Demonstration against street prayers!”
In 2017, about 100 French politicians have marched on a street in a Paris suburb in protest at Muslims holding Friday prayers in public.

The banner in the video reads “Stop illegal street prayers.” It’s not related to the circulating news nor the recent ongoing protests.
The video circulating is taken from several different angles which made it obvious that this video is from 2017.
According to the Strait Times, prayers in the street were held to protest against the closure of a popular local mosque that had operated in a government building.
