Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar's team found the picture on Getty Images, the picture was during a protest in 2019. The photo was taken during a Sudanese rally in Al Khartoum to mourn dozens of demonstrators killed on July 13, 2019.
According to Getty, crowds of protesters were violently dispersed by men in military fatigues in a pre-dawn raid on a protest site outside army headquarters on June 3, 2019.
Sudan has agreed to normalize relations with the Israeli regime as the United States removed the Arab country from its terrorist blacklist. Following the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain, Sudan is the third Arab country to have been pushed into a normalization deal with Israel since August.
Historically, Arab countries agreed that no ties should be established with Israel unless it withdraws from the territories it occupied in the 1967 war and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem.
