Misbar’s investigation found that the claim is true. Justin Dunn was arrested by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers on Election Day after he circled a polling center while carrying a pistol. The video of the arrest is below.
Dunn, who once ran for Charlotte City Council, wore a semi-automatic pistol and Trump hat. While North Carolina does allow guns at polling places, Dunn had been asked by officers to leave before returning, an act that many viewed as voter intimidation.
