In an election night speech, Trump said that “we are winning Michigan.” A few seconds later, he said that “we won” Michigan. The video is below.

Misbar’s investigation found that Trump’s claim is false. He had not “won” Michigan by the time of his speech, since hundreds of thousands of votes had yet to be counted. As of 8:59 AM on November 4, 2020, the day after Election Day, Biden led Michigan’s vote count by .6%, 49.5% to 48.9%
