Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation found that Drake is still alive. Many of the tweets that shared his alleged passing used digitally manipulated screenshots from celebrity gossip news outlet TMZ and digital media company Genius. We searched through both sites’ archives and found nothing published on Drake’s passing.
Further, Twitter has since flagged the hashtag as spreading false information.
