The Misbar team has determined that the claim is true. Barack and Michelle Obama signed a Netflix production deal back in 2018 to “potentially work on scripted and unscripted series as well as docu-series, documentary films, and features.”
In November 2020, it was announced that the former President and First Lady will produce a comedy with Adam Conover, the creator and host of truTV’s “Adam Ruins Everything” that will be loosely based on the book The Fifth Risk and will be called The G Word.
According to sources, the show will highlight the “breakdown of government agencies under the Trump administration, beginning with the botched presidential transition.” The show is scheduled to be in production in early 2021.
