On November 29, 2020, a photo on Facebook and Twitter showing the founder of BioNTech started circulating. Users shared posted a picture claiming it’s a family of the vaccine founder. Users started circulating news that Ugur sahin in .the yellow t-shirt, discovered Pfizer's vaccine
The picture has been shared by official verified Twitter accounts and attracted thousands of users.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar's reverse image search found that the circulating picture is a photograph was clicked by photographer Candida Hofer. The photograph is part of a collection of images entitled "Türken in Deutschland" which shows families who immigrated to Germany from Turkey in the 1970s.
DiasporaTürk clarified that the “family is from Aksaray. The father came to Germany in 1965 as a worker... In 1975 he decided to bring his wife and four children to Düsseldorf.”

Evidently, the boy in the picture is not Dr. Ugur Sahin and the claim circulating is false.
