As the COVID-19 vaccine has been authorized and distributed a picture circulating online depicts a COVID-19 vaccine vape. The picture has been widely circulating on Twitter and Instagram.
The picture shows a package containing a cartridge that would be used in an electronic cigarette and inhaled as a vapor. It carries Pfizer-style branding and is described as a “single dose” vaccine cartridge.

Misbar’s investigation found the circulating claim a hoax, Pfizer hasn't released a vape vaccine against COVID-19. Meme creators fabricated this picture just for fun. The picture circulating shows a cannabis vape cartridge that is a pre-filled container of cannabis oil.
The real vaccine is being made using Pfizer and BioNTech’s combined manufacturing network in Germany, Belgium, and the United States. The real Pfizer vaccine is injected into the upper arm and given as two doses 21 days apart.
