In December 2020, an image claiming that hospitals in the US are in lockdown again as the first COVID-19 vaccine patients started eating each other started circulating online. The image circulating has the CNN channel logo showing an operation room full of blood.
Other users claimed the COVID-19 vaccine patients turning into zombies.

Misbar's investigation found the picture circulating false. The picture was first found online in a report in the New York Times, February 2019.
The report was taken in the trauma bay in the emergency department at Temple University Hospital after resuscitation efforts failed.
The picture circulating was found on the meme creating website ‘iFunny’.
