OIPA International, an international Organization for Animal Protection reported in fireworks are dangerous for birds. According to OIPA birds are frightened by the loud noise and flashing lights. The Italian branch of OIPA has called for a ban on selling firecrackers and fireworks for personal use, citing the threat to animals.
