Misbar’s Analysis

The Misbar team has determined that the claim is false.  "Illuminati," the Latin word for "revealed" or "enlightened," is in reference to a secret society whose goal is to intrude known institutions to promote Enlightenment. “Masonic” is in reference to the world’s oldest fraternal organization, known as Freemasonry.

The Bible that President Biden was sworn in on has no relation to either, as it is in fact a Bible that has been in his family since 1893. The Bible that Biden used is a Haydock Douay-Rheims edition, which was commonly used until the 1940s. We could find no evidence that this Bible is related to the Illuminati and since the President is also not a member of the freemasonry, we rate the claim as false.
