Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar finds this claim to be true.

Biden has announced that he will be taking more aggressive steps in counteracting the racial divide that he sees existing in modern-day America. Biden has further expressed that he believes that most Americans believe in equality and as such “it’s time to act now, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because if we do we’ll all be better off for it.” This statement is in context to his desire to change and make a difference in America through the implementation of new policies and executive orders.

With this announcement, he presented that one of his many new efforts would be to a place a limit on the amount and types of military equipment that police officers would be supplied with. The executive order would hereby reinstate a previous policy passed during the Obama era. This policy was overturned during the Trump’s administration and resulted in an increase in military-style gear supplies for local military offices.
