Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar’s investigation found only Burna Boy and Wizkid won a GRAMMY at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Ceremony. Our team found the complete list of winners on the GRAMMY's official website and The Guardian.

Tiwa Savage and the Kutis worked with Coldplay on the nominated album Everyday Life, with Tiwa providing the backup vocals for the track Eko. While Kutis joined in on Arabesque as instrumentalists, the album was not the winner of the category.
The award show, which recognizes excellence in music, was postponed nearly two months due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Other award shows like the Golden Globes, the Oscars, and the SAG Awards also delayed their shows. At the 2021 GRAMMY Awards show, Beyoncé became the most-awarded woman in GRAMMY history. Taylor Swift became the first female musician to win Album Of The Year three times, and other winners made history in their ways.
Therefore, given the context of the claim, the Misbar team rates it as misleading.
