During an interview on March 16, 2021, reporters ask the President questions as he walks across the White House lawn. Some noted that Biden's hands appear strange when they move in front of the microphone. Social media users went on to claim that Biden wasn't really there, and that the whole video was a fake.
Misbar’s Analysis
The Misbar team has determined that the claim is false. We watched the video and found that, while there is a strange glitch-y moment with Biden's hands, it's merely an optical illusion. One of the reporters who was on the lawn with the President when the moment occurred posted their own video of the alleged incident. He also posted a video that explains why the microphones were on long booms instead of being in the President’s face.
This is due to COVID-19 and distance guidelines.
