Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar’s investigation found that there was a killing in Hot Springs, Arkansas, but there is no evidence of a serial killer or accompanying FBI cover-up, as some social media users allege.

32-year-old Paige Autumn White’s remains were found outside of Hot Springs National Park in late March 2021. However, while her killing is unsolved, police believe that it was a singular homicide.

We contacted the Hot Springs Police Department, who said that there is no evidence of a serial killer on the loose.

According to the FBI, serial killings means a series of three or more killings. While White’s killing is certainly alarming, one killing does not constitute serial killing.
