Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation found that the video is actually from a gas leak in Visakhapatnam on May 7, 2020. The leak killed twelve and injured hundreds.
We took stills from the video and conducted reverse image searches to find the video’s original publication in India Today and The Telegraph.
While India is experiencing a devastating surge in COVID-19 cases, this video is of a gas leak, not COVID-related injuries and fainting.
