A photo shows Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg standing in front of a ranch that he owns.

The claim took off on social media, particularly Facebook, in mid-April 2021.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation found that while the image does depict Zuckerberg, it is not his ranch. We conducted a reverse image search and found that the image was originally posted on Zuckerberg’s Facebook page in 2017.
In an accompanying post, Zuckerberg wrote: “I had lunch today with the Norman family on their 2,500 acre cattle ranch in South Dakota.”
His visit to the ranch was also written about in several news publications.
Since the image depicts Zuckerberg, but it is not his ranch, we rate this claim as misleading.
