Bill Cosby is Still Imprisoned

Misbar discovered that while the video’s title is incorrect, the content of the video is not. In the video, the narrator reads a USA Today article that says Cosby thanked Jackson for asking for his early release due to COVID-19.

American actor and comedian Cosby was found guilty and sentenced to three to ten years of prison for aggravated indecent assault in 2018. In December 2019, Cosby lost his first appeal. The court heard Cosby’s second appeal in December 2020.

Since the charges have not been dropped against Cosby and he has not been released, we rate this claim as false.
