As a result, some have suggested that the two are dating. This is surprising, as Pete Davidson is a 27-year-old comedian best known for being on Saturday Night Live. Twitter users were shocked when they heard the news.

Misbar's investigation found that this is just an internet joke. Pete Davidson and Melinda Gates have not been photographed together and it’s clear that most of Twitter posts on the subject are in jest.
Melinda Gates has not said anything about dating Davidson on any of her social media accounts, nor did SNL’s account (Davidson does not have one). Furthermore, Davidson is romantically involved with English actress Phoebe Dynevor.
The joke was likely made in reference to Davidson’s prior relationship with Kate Beckinsale, who is 20 years his senior.
